So after about the first season (two if you really want to push it), the story line and plots of Gossip Girl really went to the dogs. It's the same thing over and over again, Serana loves Dan no she loves Nate, no she's over guys and is going to find her inner woman in Europe, Blair is bitch...blah, blah, blah, same Manolos-different seasons. The only reason this show has survived is only because we like to look at the pretty clothes they're wearing. If the actors were to just walk on a runway dressed in different outfits saying out loud the scenes like "Blair wore this to a charity auction were she threw a drink in Chuck Bass' face" without the actual scenes, I'd watch the show again. But alas, this show gave us Blake Livley, not Blake Lively the actress (nobody is going to watch a movie because of her, naked "leaked" pictures or not) but Blake Lively the person who knows how to rock a Marchesa dress and a pair of Louboutins. Every time I hear her name I just always remember a joke Daniel Tosh made when he was talking about a leaked video of Patriots owner (I think) helping his much younger girlfriend run lines for a possible audition. Tosh pointed out "if it wasn't for old men helping out young actresses get their break in Hollywood, where would Blake Lively bee?"-or something to that effect. the only old dude I knew she got it on with was Dicaprio (despite the baby face his pretty old) but i guess they were more...hmmm.
Being someone who is vertically challenged, I'm especially excited for wedge and heel boots and booties this fall. So many to choices, so little money to buy them all and time to wear them all.
